This Web Site's Focus is From
A "Big Fan's" Point of View.

Lester Davenport Has Been Singing and Performing
For More Years Than I Can Count.
I've Seen Him Play The Harmonica,
The Guitar
,The Bass,
He Even Plays Drums.

He is Proficient with ANY Instrument
He Chooses to Pick Up!

That's How He Recieved His Stage Name.
From Roaming The Stage, Picking Up Various
Instruments From The Musicians He's Playing With.

He Plays Them Briefly, Before Moving On To
The Next Instrument. He Really Puts On a
Phenominal Show.

The Pictures Above
and Below,Were Taken At
The Chicago Blues Fest.

It Was an Acoustic Set.
What a Sound!

Lester Was Playing an
Acoustic Guitar, And The Harmonica
He's Most Famous For.
(Note: He Played Bass Behind Bo Diddley)

Aron Burton Was Playing an Upright Bass,
Kenny "Beady Eyes" Smith Was On Drums,
And Hiro Konishi Was Playing Guitar.

I Took These Pictures at
The 15th Annual Chicago Blues Fest.

After The Fest Was Over,
Lester Davenport Joined Aron Burton,
David "Honeyboy" Edwards,
Sam Lay, and Other Masters
At a Place Called "The Hide Out."
